(anti) Runescape Items Scamming

You must not attempt to, or deliberately mislead another player to gain their runescape items or Runescape money.
Why do we have this rule?
We have this rule to help protect new Runescape players, and to help prevent your game being spoilt by others. If you don't understand why we have this rule then try to imagine how you would feel if you had spent hours achieving something and somebody else had then tricked you out of it. We want our games to be fun, and being scammed is anything but fun.
Runescape items What does 'scam' mean?
To 'scam' means to cheat another player during a trade. Lying to other players for your own personal gain is not in the spirit of our games. Basically, if you're not telling the truth about an item you're trading, you're breaking the rule.
Safe trading
Remember, the second trade-window is there to keep you safe from scammers. If someone is not giving you enough time to check the items being traded then we would strongly advise you to find someone else to trade with. Do not hit the 'Accept' button in the second stage of trading unless you are totally satisfied with the trade.
If somebody is telling you that you can be reported for taking too long, don't believe them! A real player looking for an honest trade will not be put off by you checking everything is in order. Runescape Items game.

Selling an item for much less or much more than it's worth is not an item scam. Similarly, getting a bad deal on a trade that you have previously agreed upon is not a scam. It is only when the deception creeps in that we would consider an action as scamming.
When to report
'Obtaining property by deception' or at least trying to, sums it up.
